I think that yellow Strat is the last Fender I buy.
I really don’t trust their quality control at all.

Only guitars I’m interested in now is the JTG made in China Tyler’s, and maybe the Reverend Greg Koch guitars.

I have a Reverend Tele, sweet fucking guitar for the money.

I liked Phil's playing when he was in FIGHT. but that captain anderton guy? is a real K*nt. his ego got pretty big during the cov*d thing and I saw him down talk a lot of people. as a result? will and have never bought from him.

He was discovered as part owner of Victory amps, and he pushes them heavily and reviews them very highly on his channel. He had clearly actively avoided telling anyone he was involved with Victory, to the point of shadiness. He could have easily just mentioned in any of his Victory videos that he was involved with the company in some way, and none of this would be any kind of issue, but he pretended like his opinions of the company were entirely unbiased to all his viewers. Pretty much lost all credibility for a few extra potential bucks.

He said MANY times previously in videos that he is not involved in Victory, then when people started calling him out, he changed the story to "well I don't really design anything, I'm just a partial owner". The way he handled everything is incredibly shady, and frankly, I have a hard time giving Anderton's my business anymore because of it. This is the kind of guy that only "feels bad" about something when they're caught.

Probably hung around Chapman too long. Rob's so crooked he has to screw his pants on.

I noticed the change from when they were "Franklin Guitar Works". It does seem different now.

But I have gotten many great deals in the past and now I just have too many.

I've only had one Reverend but I didn't care for the ergonomics. Everything else was pretty stellar. One of the few brands I wouldn't have a problem buying before playing. They do have too many Gumby shapes though.

More ebay bullshit. There is a reason I avoid that place. Sell an item and other seller with same item hits buy it now and never pays, effectively tying up your item so his can sell. I was done as a seller there fifteen years ago and stuff like this is why I don't really do much buying there now either.

Old lady's thinline tele is pretty damn nice tbh. I was ready to trash the noiseless pickups and was pretty surprised how nice they sound while being so quiet.

The noiseless thing works really well if you are at higher volumes. At low volumes, they kinda suck.

Doesn't surprise me. I was expecting either tone suck or pseudo humbucking sounds. I was cranking it through a twin so that's probably what biased me in it's favor LOL.

Phil X was being interviewed by the guy from guitar world. He's talking about playing with his heroes and this and that very cool stuff. He gets to a point and he says, answering the question so what are you doing you next? and he goes, I'll be out with Bon Jovi playing Ireland and Scotland and three nights at Wembley... After describing this and all the other stuff he's done and is doing he says, "It sounds like I'm making it up right?" Haha.
He's says joking, "and then on Friday I'm playing with Jimmy Page and Robert Plant I brought them together...it sounds like I'm making it up"

The dude is super talented and he's got a great memory and an awesome personality and is charming as a motherfucker, I can see why he's gotten as far as he has, which is pretty fucking far.
