It's funny demo guys picked same amps as their favorite and least favorite.

I think they had Oz dial them in. Sounded terrible. He has terrible tone in general.

Reminds me of random 15 yo stoner kids playing random power chord riffs with way too much of everything on, as loud as possible, and thinking that meant it was good.

Again, can almost guarantee Oz dialed those all in.

Jon immediately mentions the amount of gain on and ask if they all have that much..... It was his way of commenting immediately on how bad it was dialed in.

This asshole "Captain" is too much of an asshole to maybe set each amp's tones at their middle range. You would think with his years in the business and making demos, he might stop being an asshole, but apparently not.
Even Kotex-Head Chapman told him to back the treble off. You think the amp's feeding back and whistling might give him a clue.
They are not doing themselves any favors. Fucking ship-wipe Captain. Even his husband was embarrassed.

Mesa Red Modern is everybody's favorite when you’re right in front of the cab. 🙂 Just not necessarily recorded. Surprised they didn’t immediately recognize it when they played.
Their reaction to the JVM is how I feel about it but you also need to set the gain to 9’Oclock to give it a chance.
The better take away from this is what records better vs. what you hear in the room. They didn’t like the Kraken at all but I felt it came through the mics with a better focus and clarity on the 2nd round when they lowered the gain a bit.
😂 @21:47 “uh, they all sound great”. Salesman mode kicks in, realizing they need to sell all of them.
Dude goes on about Orange being tighter for the JvM but then adjusts it on CH 4.
Had the Soldano gain on 8 🤪
These guys need to get back to their sims and modelers and listening through monitors.
