I played a TA-30 recently. It sounded pretty good. I was amazed at how much better it sounded with the effects loop off. Really shows how much that circuit colors the tone. It didn't sound like Andy Timmons. 
It was pretty good but I was underwhelmed. Of course, I just got through listening to a Dr. Z, Z-wreck before I plugged in so maybe that's why.

not too sure i like that sound of that amp. it sounds like a cheap fender solid state from 89 or something...could be the camera. sounded blah to me though. anyone else?

He got me to buy a Stiletto (cool) and a Lonestar (Yuk). Sounds good when he plays it but I'm going to pass on this one.
