My biggest influence.... straight up perfect phrasing and tone. And such a great guy as well. What music is about imo

As much of an Influence on me is,
Zappa, Iommi, Blackmore, EVH, Randy,
Vai, Satch, Nuno, Guthrie, Paul Gilbert,
Petrucci, Schenker, Yngwie, Schon, Gary
Moore, Vivian Campbell, Kotzen, Marty
Friedman, Doug Aldrich, Ty Tabor, Dime, etc....
Andy Timmons is the one Guitar player
that makes me forget about every comparison.
He stands Alone...He plays with more Emotion,
Technique, Style & Soul, more than anybody
I have ever seen. Andy has it all & is my Ultimate
Favorite Guitar player today!!!

I challenge you to find me a clip where Andy Timmons is NOT "killin it". ;)

I'd probably have an easier time finding a Bigfoot vid that is believable.

I used to live in Dallas all thru the 90's....would see Andy at a local blues bar after the first Earecstasy came out and before he got real famous. He was amazing back then and still the best guitar player I've ever seen live!

Love Timmon's style and emotion. That live version of Cry For You is my favorite.

Not a fan of his sound lately - turn that tone knob clockwise Andy!!

Easily one of my favorite tunes ever! Great performance by one of my favorites!

I love Andy's playing but to write a song like that where the guitar is doing the chords and melody without a 2nd rhythm guitar is simply amazing and way harder than it seems.
