Another new Mesa amp (Maybe Hetfield's sig amp??)

If this happens it would be amazing. Like Fox77 mentioned it will definitely be insanely expensive in europe unfortunately :( Better start up saving. By the way, two amps that blew me away in cleans are Mark V and Herbert. Never tried JC120 though

Rumor has it......JC120 Clean, Recto and IIC++ channels with GEQ and all the new bells and whistles (MIDI, CabClone).

Shit. If this happens, I will pre-order one. Fuck you bank account.

Me too. Haven't bought an amp in a long time. The JC120 is the best clean I ever played. And both recto and IIC++ channels in one amp would rule. My dream Mesa Boogie. They will sell loads of them for generations.

Hmm..looks interesting. It would make sense that Mesa would do it if JH wanted one, the Petrucci amp is a 100/60 2C repro, maybe this will be a simulclass version?

Didn't he slave the preamp section into a 800 for Masters? Might make more sense to have 6550's haha.

I've been told this is no true. They simply layered amps together during the mix process. JCM800, 2C+, etc.

the sweetwater demo makes this thing very desirable, much refined tone packed into one amp. I wish it was 100 watts

It looks like mesa realizes they had lately become reduced to passe, $800 rectos on the used market and the high dollar unicorn C++ whatever crowd.

this suits everyone and does it all well. I am impressed.

One of the reasons I kept my JC-120H and JC-55 around, after owning pretty much the whole stereo range (JC-20E, JC-77's, JC-85 and JC-120 combo).

I can tell you, using a tube-based drive pedal like a H&K Tubefactor or a Blackstar HT-Dual into the JC-120H sounds huuuuuge.

If true and the amp itself is legit I would have no problem parting ways with my c+ and early recto. Not gonna hold my breath though

aww hell i posted in the wrong thread lol, was talking about the trpile crown. fail.

I hope this is true and it lives up to the rumors. I would sell several amps for a killer Hetfield Mesa, if the tone was there.

I hope its not what he used on the new album... if it is, then it is a fail IMHO

Not sure what you prefer in tone or what you are listening to the new album through but to me Hetfields tone on the new album is massive and killer sounding. Best he's sounded in a long time, tonally and vocally.

Do Agree...

Vocally, I agree. The tone, though...zzzzzzz....

It's not bad, but I'm not crazy over it...

Maybe the new Mesa Triple Crown will be the platform for the Hetfield amp. I can only hope and pray a Het sig amp will happen.

Got a reliable source that says its definitely something That has been presented to him and that communication is tough but because het is so busy and because Metallica is in there post production phase and touring that adding gear To there live show isn't feasible Late in the game Unless there is a massive change from the top down, plus they are saving 10k Net a show per guy using the axe Fx. However it may be added to the tuning room to "Tune" further He wont do anything thats not perfect. Keep in mind that Marshall and other brands (rumors are Krank, 5150, Diezel, Wizard, etc etc) in the past have tried and nothing has been done tons of companies have sent them Mods, Prototypes, etc So who knows

If it sounds anything like the new album... I'm sure it will be "Hardwired to suck, suck, suck".

Do not want.

How does that work out? Saving 10k per show by using an AxeFX ? Are those roadie and tube fees?
