I was never a big tremonti fan til I heard his You Waste Your Time song, his vocals are far better than the dudes that sang for him imho

Scott Stapp blows Tremonti away on vocals and also guitar for that matter.

Tremonti's sig dunlop wah sucks too.

;)

Wow!!!

Is it me or do you get a little AIC flavor in there?

This stuff for me is superior to creed n alter bridge. I love the dark riffs n killer vocals.

+1  Tremonti doesn't need need him. Maybe we'll hear some dual lead vox on the next AB album. Stapp is a great singer when he is on but I'm glad Mark kinda ditched him. I really don't like singers that hide their real voice with gimmicks like the Seattle throat call or country singer doing the rural nasal yodel.  I LOVE singers that just let there natural voice rip. I played in a cover band with a phenominal singer that did the Seattle throat call ALL THE TIME  Didn't play with him for like 4 years then he asked me to join another band that I'm currently in and some where alone the line he dropped it and found his voice  but it's time for Mark to shine!

Yes the gtr tone kicks total ass along w the riff age !!!
Guess he used the cornford on this cd?? Anyone know if so n if he blended amps.

Took this from an interview he did recently:
"Tuning-wise, there's three songs that are a half-step down in drop D. There's about eight songs that are in drop B, and two songs that are in an open E5 tuning dropped down to B, so I guess it'd be an open B5 tuning. And then another song is a whole step down in standard tuning."

"As for amps, I used a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier and a Cornford RK100. Eric Friedman, who did the rhythm guitars, used two Bogner Shiva models, one of them was the 20th anniversary model with the KT88s. The Shivas blended really well with what I was doing."

Eric also tours w/ them for Creed shows, I think last i saw he's using the 5150III, Mark has one now too but it's not in his rig. Mark's live rig is ridiculous. He's using like 5 amps.

Here's the whole interview if you want to read.

Saw them on tour recently (Creed) and watched sound check. Eric was using the 5150III's and Mark had his Bogner, Mesa, a Voodoo Dual V-Rock and another amp that I thought said Blackstone (definitely not a Blackstar) - I didn't recognize the amp. That sound at this particular show was incredibley huge!! Best I've heard in eight shows I've seen.
