If being a Republican makes me a fascist because I despise the party of slavery, Jim Crow, Segregation, Indian Removal Act, Asian internment camps, dropped atomic bombs on civilian populations, facilitated mass sterilization of minorities without their knowledge, promotes abortions for minorities, mass incarceration of blacks, and the party who’s Democrat Senate Majority Leader was a KKK member?
The same Senate majority leader who voted against the civil right act of 1964. And how about Biden’s old ass the fought to keep segregation in place? The same guy that authored the 1994 crime bill that disportionately incarcerated blacks and militarized the police to the level they are today.
Bet let’s revisit platforms. The Civil Right Act wouldn’t have passed without republicans and was much stronger supported by the Republicans, but the racist LBJ was smart enough to capitalize on pivot from it.
