Climate change denial conspiracies explained

Well she's 22 now so you're saying she has done most of her work as a climate activist in the last 4 years ?

She definitely brought attention to it, but ( and we have discussed this before ) I think an argument can be made that she did more harm than good. Or at least that she could have done a lot more good if there were a lot less outlandish claims, jet setting around the world to liberal minded media events and all the stuff that gives people ammunition to label her as a hypocrite.

When we ( notice I said we) are not being snarky, you make some damn good points about climate change. I think it's reasonable to assume that a lot more people would be motivated to change their behavior if the issue were presented to them in a reasonable way, by a reasonable person who was advocating reasonable solutions. That's just my opinion.

But that’s where the misinformation comes from. She’s well known for not taking jets around to her conferences. She actually practices what she preaches even though she is “only a child”.

The more people who pay attention the more people it all becomes blatantly obvious too.
Some people just take longer and some are just gonna be lost causes until it affects themselves

Another rich, entitled person bitching about shit that doesn't really affect her.
I'm barely even aware of her existence, and i mock anyone who takes her even the slightest bit seriously.
Like you said, she's an activist and i don't really listen to those types.

Not really a flex but that’s cool

I think you're selling it short.
USA is still the most free nation on the planet, as evidenced by the millions of people who want to live here.
Obviously it's not perfect and has its problems.
The countries generally considered the freest in the world, according to the Human Freedom Index, include Switzerland, New Zealand, and Denmark. These nations consistently rank high due to strong legal systems, economic freedom, and robust civil liberties. Other countries frequently cited for high levels of freedom are Ireland, Finland, and Canada.
The US and UK are tied for 17th.

Clearly people outside of the US have a vastly different definition of free than we do.

Human Freedom Index is not an organization i place a large amount of stock in.

Of course! You believe whatever your rulers tell you.
That's what's wrong with people like you-
I either believe what you believe, or i believe "whatever my rulers tell me".
As if there is nothing in between?
Can't i not believe the same as you, and also not believe whatever "my rulers" tell me?
Jeez dude.

Wow.
Problems aren't mainstream? Maybe in the Shire?
All i read about and see are problems every day.
I meant the ones that activists fight for.

If everyone was on board with an issue, it wouldn’t need people raising awareness; so of course activists will always be on the fringe
