I am a big fan, but I'm only on season 3 and haven't watched an episode in a while. I just downloaded season 4 though, so I will hopefully be catching the whole way up soon.

On a side note, I just finished watching Firefly/Serenity. Holy fuck, is that shit good. I haven't seen a TV show, even BSG, as good as Firefly and it was only 14 episodes. Have you guys watched that?

Firefly = best show ever created ever. Period.

After re-watching it plus Serenity, it is damn hard to argue against that.

And as for the Torgo's reference, yes, Futurama references should always be welcome  Especially with Firefly in the equation, since Futurama got treated like shit by Fox as well. At least they got more than 14 episodes though.

I'm a big fan of BSG. The last episode left me a bit cold though. These Flashback did not really add anything to the story.
It did not reveal new things that was not previously shown. I hope that the 2 hour episode coming up this Friday
is going to be good and tie it all up story wise.

I watched SCC for a while and it was pretty good and I liked the cast.

Heroes is not very good right now. The only story line worth watching
was the Sylar/Father reunion and now that it's over, they need to pick up the pace and get going. The first season was really the best.

I look forward to seeing the new Star Trek movie this spring !

I just watched yesterday's episode, and I have to say, holy fuckinchrist.

The writers should kill themselves after Battlestar is done, because they will never top this. I'll be sad to see the show go.

Huge fan but Im about 4 or 5 behind since i have been working like mad and staying over the girlfriends house lol! I have them all DVR'ed though!! The problem with the sci fi channel is that they make more money putting out bullshit cheesy CGI shows on the cheap rather then spending the money on BSG. BSG was cancelled due to budget and that sucks IMHO.

There was movie on the other day called Frankenfish   Fucking EPIC. Almost as good as Savage Planet. That's a movie with giant alien Grizzly bears.

I didn't know that BSG got the ax because of the budget. That is bullshit

Not bad, but I prefer this:

I can't find any good pictures, but I also prefer Starbuck when she has long hair. Definitely not when she has short hair though

I don't dig that blonde chick for whatever reason. I hate her character almost as much as i dislike Baltar.

Oh there is no doubt her character is a bitch. But nobody could possibly suck as much as Baltar.

I'm a huge, huge Firefly fan. Just goes to show that the execs at Fox really do deserve to be ground into Torgo's Executive Powder. I mean, they have to be the dumbest people on earth judging by the number of DVD sales from Firefly/Serenity. If they end up canceling Fringe (which I suspect they will, despite J.J. Abrams' involvement), I'm calling it quits for them. I'm tired of getting involved in an awesome show written by brilliant people, only to have some dumbshit TV exec not "get it" and cancel it. I'm not sure why sci-fi writers even bother with Fox these days.

Hell, SciFi did the same thing with Farscape. The best series they've ever had prior to BSG.

hey now, Fox has to clear out the schedule for more Seth McFarlane projects

you know, even though the past few years of King of the Hill have been very lackluster, replacing it with a Family Guy spin-off is total bullshit

Lackluster King of the Hill is still far better than what Family Guy has turned in to. And American Dad is even worse. Much worse. I can't imagine how bad this new spin off will be.

I have to say, even now when I see the earlier Family Guy episodes (which I used to like) I think they're terrible. And yeah, the post-resurrection Family Guy is just awful

I'm a little bit behind in the TV series... Been working my way through The Wire as well as Six Feet Under, and I've been digging both of those shows. Dexter as well, but I'm taking a break from that because I hate having to wait for new episodes / new DVD sets.

Firefly was a solid show, very enjoyable.

I only saw the first episode of BSG, I will have to check the rest of that out, especially once they release the complete box set.

Girlfriend keeps pestering me to watch Babylon 5 and (more so) Farscape, are those worth checking out?

Dude, Six Feet Under was amazing as well. I should go back and re watch that. I was really sad to see the show come to and end during the last episode of Six Feet Under....that Brenda chick looks like, and acts like an older version of my crazy ex....the one I posted pics of way back when in the old NSW forum.

I have limited exposure to both, but I will check them out one day. I have seen a few episodes of Babylon 5 and it is very good. I would recommend it. I haven't really seen much Farscape though, so I can't say for that one.

Same thing that happened to Farscape as I understand it. The thing SciFi doesn't realize is that they need one or two unreasonably awesome shows in their lineup, or people won't watch them at all.

B5 is really the series by which I measure everything else. It was the first show to have a really contiguous storyline. Kinda like a soap-opera in space :D Season 5 was kinda lame, but they didn't think they'd make it that far with the shit WB was giving them, so they tried to cram everything into Season 4.

I found it funny how once B5 started getting popular, all of a sudden we see Deep Space 9...

Babylon 5 is great. It did mirror DS9 a little bit. And i thought DS9 was pretty under-rated. They had the biggest war we've seen in the Trek universe against the Dominion. Babylon5 had some great space battles, some of my favorite actually. Start at the beginning of B5 to really appreciate it.
