Any BSG fans here?

For the Nathan Fillion fans, his new show Castle seems to be pretty good so far.

The mini-series and Seasons 1-3 were cool. However, season 4 has been a complete pile of shit. It has just been one long boring fucking soap opera. Fuck that, I'd rather just have mindless action and violence than this bullshit.

Mrs President is the most fucking annoying character in the history of TV! She should have been killed off in the original attack. In fact, Lucy Lawless and the other blonde are the only characters I actually like now.

I've only stuck with it due to the time already invested. Roll on Friday so I can be done with it... :gethim: :D

I'm going through season 3 of BSG right now, and it is pretty fucking good stuff. I forgot how amazing it is.

I was never that much into TV, because to me 99% of it is weak bullshit, and only have a TV setup every 2 years when the World Cup and European Championships are on, that's if England qualify. :)

I go down the pub if I wanna watch the footie. Otherwise I just download the few shows I'm into when they're airing. Which at the moment is just BSG for one more show, Sarah Connor for a few more and South Park.

I've seen Firefly but don't get why people get such a hard on for it? It was alright, but that's about it.

I saw the first Dollhouse and thought it was bollocks. I've got a couple more eps but I can't really be arsed to watch them?

The new Red Dwarf will be one thing I'm watching though.

Reasons Firefly is amazing:

The characters are all well written, deep, different and likable, not to mention perfectly cast. Even their bad qualities are likable because they are written and acted so well.

The story is a new concept, at least to TV with the whole "space western" thing. And the way they handled it was perfect, not too much futuristic space stuff, and not too much western stuff.

But I don't think Dollhouse is anything special. I actually don't much like any of Joss Whedon's other shows. I think Firefly was his greatest achievement.

I haven't enjoyed the past few episodes. There's so many untied ends and they have 1 freakin episode to sum it all up. Feels like were being ripped.

All i have to say is, what the hell happened to Hero's and the Sarah Conner Chronicles? Both shows have sucked monkey ass. Hero's has been pathetic for a while now though.

no shit... SCC was rocking the first season (fantastic J cash and bodies in the pool) I find myself picking up a guitar before any given recent episode of heroes is over.

but BSG..... never been a better TV show but having said that; what the frack? I was thinking the last 12 episodes would be a major build up to a grand finally. like a rubber stopping a 5 minute orgasm or something. but honestly it seems to kinda be dragging. Even last weeks episode was kinda lame. not sure what all the flash backs were about. they have one episode and under two hours to tie up everything? man sounds like they have really set themselves up for a tall order. In any event... Im really looking forward to see how this all comes to an end.

If star trek was to boldly go where no man has gone before then BSG is to get the frack out of here.

and +1 to danyeo on the grace park pics.

Ok, I just got done watching season 3 of BSG. What the FRACK  The last five minutes of the last episode were fucking ridiculous. Seriously, what the fuck? I'm downloading season 4 right now. But my mind is completely fucked.

I like Tru Calling a lot more than Dollhouse. :D

That isn't a Joss Whedon show though.

Firefly>>>>>>>Tru Calling or Dollhouse

Battlestar Galactica is is better than those 2 shows as well

Mark, have you ever watched Angel? It is another Joss Whedon show, and it has that douche from that terrible Bones show in it. That one dude you claim is really famous.

I've seen a few episodes. I don't really like it though. I probably wouldn't like BSG either. I'm not nearly as big into the Sci-Fi stuff as you. On another note, you need to get Resident Evil 5. It's just amazing.

1. You know I will not be getting RE5

2. Battlestar Galactica is so much more than SciFi. It is absolutely incredible on all levels. I am sitting here still thinking about the end of season 3 and scratching my head though. It was extremely weird and just came from fucking nowhere.

You might actually like it since it's pretty different from all the other RE games. It's more like a crazy action movie rather than a survival horror game. It's cool playing through the game with a partner as well.

I am finding that I can only play video games where I am really into the storyline. And there are currently no games where that is the case. The last time that really happened was MGS4.

But seriously, there is no possibly way that RE5 could be better than BSG, but there is also no way to possibly compare a TV show to a VG. Maybe they should have a BSG video game
