I can easily say that I am a huge Andy T. and Danger Danger fan. Just pickup up this album the other day and in my opinion some of their best work. His tone on this album is his best IMO.

timmons is the man, hes prob my fav solo instrumental guitarist

Big Fan of Andy, he's doing a masterclass and clinic in Plymouth UK this month, unfortunately I'll be in Brazil so can't get to it.

So much feeling in his playing and he's not using a ton of overdrive in his solo work, just great playing!!

Andy is the first person to come along
in a Long time and completely knock my
socks off!!!! He is probably my Favorite
guitar player, one of the best that I have
ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Timmons has the greatest tone but his choice of amps are not up to Rig-Talk standards.

I love his tone here and notice that the Marshall's are off.

Sounds like it. I played a stock Lonestar that had almost that much gain.

he's fuckin great- saw him at a clinic last week. great guy too. The Carl Martin compressor is a big component of his tone- not compressing much, but boosting. I just got one, great pedal.

Absolutely one of my favorite players!!! :D

Although, I have to say, I've been listening to Pete Thorn's CD...I just can't get enough of it. Pete's CD has a bit more edge and kick ass rawness to it that I really dig.

I have the Resolution DVD and I watch that thing on a weekly basis

Probably my favorite artist at this time

Yep that is some killer tone! I'm just now starting to get into his solo stuff. Not knowing where to begin, what is his staple stuff to start with?

I like both AT and DD. I saw DD a few years ago with Rob Marcello on guitar and they were incredible.

Huge Timmons fan here - great feel, phrasing, tone. Not a huge DD fan, but hey - it was a style of music back then.. nothing wrong with just good time light partying tunes. Worth it for the solos! lol
A bud of mine is currently playing with Ted Poley.

Here's Ted Poley playing drums in the NJ band Prophet.

Huge Andy fan. The guy has it all. Tone, chops and more importantly taste.
