Any Dr. Z Love 'Round Here?

The clip in my sig is mostly Dr Z.

My own is a Carmen Ghia and it absolutely slays whatever you throw at it (except for heavy death stuff, obviously).

Best amp I have ever owned.

That... Was awesome. Nice work! Just a truly awesome tone and texture. Great playing, too.

Thank you kindly.

I would not hesitate in getting one if you play (record especially) rock/blues/country/funk/pop/alternative.

I record quite a bit and most of the time I record various versions of the same part with different amps and audition them after.
80% of the time I end up going with the Carmen Ghia. The tonal range you can get from those two knobs is insane. EVERYTHING I could really use is in there.

I don't have much experience with other models, but the little I have had has been great. Just solid and feels and sounds so together and RIGHT. Top quality, and I am really surprised they aren't more prominent.

Yup Love Dr.Z stuff, - I however prefer them to record with rather than live or a jam amp, they just record really really nicely, and are not fussy at all like other amps.. Max/Jaz and the Z Wreck are all fantastic!.

Signed by Brad Paisley.. its his amp he used at O2 in London.

So yeah.. Im a big fan of Dr.Z's work.. terrific stuff.

Love the Ghia. I'll have to get another someday for sure. A different experience than any other amp Ive ever played.

I love my Z's...Here's a vid that I did that was featured on Z's site for a bit, when the Therapy had come out. You can see the wall of Z's behind me in the later clips.

Love my Stang Ray. Just a completely different animal than any other amp I've played. Really want a 'Ghia!

Thanks so much! I've gotten to appreciate playing using clean tones over the years. The Z's definitely helped in that department. It makes everything cleaner when you start cranking the gain :).

The valances look killer on your Z's.
Harvey does great wood working.

Here an AC30 and Maz 38NR together but you're mostly hearing the Maz38. It was loud and crushing the cam. There's a whole lot of redneckin' going on in the video, you've been warned

Awesome! I love me some Brent Mason!

Thanks, he's a huge influence. I'm convinced that his version of Sugarfoot Rag is impossible to play unless you're Brent Mason. The guy's an alien.

Definitely an alien, LOL. The way he claws at the strings is definitely unique!

Dr. Z's stuff is definitely addicting! No two sound alike or do the same thing. I'm up to 7 and really should thin the herd, but when I start playing through them, my mind goes blank.

Lovely amps, great pics and tasty licks. Well done.

Pushing me ever closer to displace gear to fund my beloved Z-Wreck.
