Any experience with American Musical Supply?

American Musical Supply = zZounds = Same Day Music

They're all basically the same and perfectly fine. I think they even share the same items and whatnot.
 
I used them when I bought some things. I didnt think they were bad, but did have a couple of asstards in customer service when I called about somethings, but overall it was pretty decent.
 
I order from them once in awhile, free shipping and no tax. Usually get the gear pretty quick too.
 
I have used them and Same Day music a few times in the last 2 months for misc stuff like straps, picks ect,ect..

Shipping is pretty fast but I am in the same state as them, Every thing I have ordered has been received in 1-2 days..
No problems with them so far..
 
they've been in biz for years and have been fine to deal with. i ordered a case from them and they sent it in a very crappy box. it was a crappy case, so :jerkit:
 
I've dealt with AMS and Sam Day as well and both were fine. Actually I got an RG from Same Day and it had issues and they had me a shipping label emailed in hour of talking to CS and as soon as they saw the guitar being tracked they sent me out a new. One of the smoothest transactions I've had with something like that.
 
Ive bought several things from them and never had a problem.

I've used them and never had a problem - I'd say they're next in line as far as popularity to Musicians Friend.
 
I have used them without any issues. I often get stuff through Zzounds, which I had forgotten was the same company. I try to avoid MF and GC.

Did you check to see whether Sweetwater had the PP2+ in stock?
 
yeah sweetwater won't have it for a few weeks and I have a show coming up on the 5th. I want my board squared away before then. I am going to call the local shop and see if they have some financing going on, as I think they do. I need a few mic stands and some odds and ends as well.
 
AMS is too close to PMS .... I would not trust them just based on that.
 
I used them back in the mid 90's....... I believe everything went flawless.
 
I love em order one day here the next... returns are painless too, if your on the east coast this is your place
 
I've purchased a few things from them. I also like the fact that they do payment plans.
 
Excellent to deal with. Great on returns. Did multi payment plan off credit card with them and they are very trustworthy.

Years ago about 1998 or so I ordered one of the first Alesis Masterlink hard disk recorders -they were still $ 1500. then. I had some problems with the first one and they took it back ,they paid the shipping, then I had some problem with the 2nd one and they took that one back and paid shipping both ways. These were revisions that Alesis made in the Eprom op system and the CD drawer tray. The third one was fine and I used it for years.
