yes,frankenutt is a crook.my good friend would have gotten ripped of by him if he didnt live in the same town as him.he had to show up at the guys house and threaten him..it was mess..i will onle buy from southeast guitars.he is a great guy to do bussiness with.

The shit is about to hit the fucking fan now. I sent James two e-mails last night, explaining the situation, and asked for a refund of the $200 I payed for the OFR, and either a new body faster than lightning, or a refund for that aswell. I also made a post at the forums over at frankenstraat, where I said things the way there are.
One of the moderators (KingEdwardsRules I believe), actually agreed with me, and said that this needed to be rectified, and totally understood that I made the post in the forums, and reacted the way I did. I think quite some members there saw my thread....
And this morning (it's morning here), when going to the Frankenstraat forums, I can't fucking log in. And no fucking REPLY from James either! So now he isn't even going to give me my money I payed for the OFR, back? WTF? Is he just going to ignore me, and reckon this thing passes? This is like buying a Gibson Les Paul Custom, and getting a fucked up Studio, that's not even playable.
First of all, he had no reason in the world to ban me from the forums. The mod(s) even agreed that this needed to be rectified! I made a post laying out things the way they are, no bashing or rudeness... People are allowed to post when they're happy about the products they get from him (if that happens), but I can't post when I'm not pleased? And then he just bans me, without even replying to my fucking mails? God I wish I lived in the states right now...

Dude - you're describing exactly what happened to me. I wasn't rude on his forum. Just asked for some answers on why I was getting royally screwed and I was banned in minutes... This plays out many times a day with this asshole and others like him. I hate that you are in this position, but it was so predictable based on my experience...

The C to C on my posts is 74mm. The bores for the posts are centered to the pickup routs, and the neck pocket. I get 169mm from the heel to the center line of the trem post bores.

Exactly... The rear spring rout is centered to the neck pocket aswell, right? Atleast that's what it is on the GMW. So it's not just the holes, but the hole fucking rout that's misaligned.

You can see what he did... the rout on the top isn't even wide enough. But then he locates the back rout off of the bad post bore on the front... and totally screws up the rear rout.
How can someone not see that? Is that why he did not send the bridge, because he knew it would not fit?

i got banned at the eddievanhalen forum a few years back for talk bad about frankenstraat and the deal that went down with my buddies guitar.Andre the board owner was protecting him for some reason.he was letting him sell EVH replicas through PM on the board...alot of people got screwed by james over there and i guess Andre was finally forced to get rid of him on the board.

Thanks for that, Jeff! Can't really understand how he can NOT see that... I mean, the spring cavity rout actually cut into one of the insert holes... Now, I'd notice something like that if I was routing. I'm a fucking perfectionist, and so should everyone selling guitar bodies/necks privately, be... Oh well, let's see how things develop. I have demanded refund for the floyd, and coverage of the shipping. before I ship anything... Not taking any chances.
