or do the Suhr headstock like those Gary Kramers have.

John Suhr and Tom Anderson took their headstock design from the early 80's Kramers.

Didn't they initially buy their parts from Schecter?

Actually, most of his strathead necks were made by.....Well, lets just say they were very Charvel authentic.

Tom essentially "was" Schecter...he was their main builder. The original Pensa-Suhr guitars did use Schecter (and other?) parts. John built a cool Strat and Tele pair for Peter Frampton in the 80's that still wore the Schecter logo.

As long as you like his head stocks, Lee at GMW is pretty open. I've owned a ton of GMWs. Great guitars and Lee has always been straight with me and delivered on time.

I have two strathead GMW's. One iIordered and Lee builds great guitars, easy to deal with and a pretty good guy to boot. I can't get past their new headstocks however...
