Outside of the Scarab, this was my first experience with any of the Basic Audio stuff. Did an overview of the sounds I used and then the full mix clip. Used the ASAT, SC245, EZDrummer 2 and my Ibanez bass. Of course I used the Torpedo Studio as well. Cabs were Uber30/75. Also the first demo for Dunky's using the new Dirty Shirley.

In case I am too long winded for ya!

• Intro: 00:00 - 1:55
• P-Fuzz: 1:56 - 3:16
• Wildcat 2: 3:17 - 5:40
• Bye Bias: 5:41 - 8:10
• Super Fuzz: 8:11 - 9:45
• FULL MIX CLIP: 9:46 - 12:07
• Closing: 12:08 - 13:40

I checked out one of the tour boxes about three years ago. Only one I own is the Scaràb. That Super Fuzz sounds awesome in the clip.

Well I definitely appreciate you checking it out! I really loved them all. For me the P-Fuzz and Super Fuzz were my favorites to play. The Wildcat is very cool and the Bye Bias was fun to get that nasty, sputtery goodness but the P and Super were just great fun. I REALLY miss my Scarab. Been wanting to check out the Futureman and Alter Destiny.

Every couple years I try out a few fuzzes.
I'll have them for a couple months then they're gone.
They never work for me. For sure live. They always get buried.

Yeah truth be told, I am new to Fuzz and have only really used for recording. Live it seems they need LOTS of volume and adjustable tone controls which seems to upset some "purists"... I'm ok with it though! Lol!

The Alter Destiny is fairly versatile for a Muff. The voicing was different from any Muff I have used.

A lot of fuzz the midrange is cut and can get lost in the mix. I recommend trying a Voodoo Lab Superfuzz. The Resonance and Tone controls on this pedal have worked good for me live.

A other one that is pretty live friendly for me is the Barber Trifecta.

The Rat kind of gets in the fuzz range.... It absolutely cuts in a mix.

You know, for decades I never used any kind of boost for my amps. I finally "bought into" the RAT hype a few years ago and talk about missing out! LOL!

I LOVE a Rat type pedal into the front of a modded Marshall. Too killer!

Basic Audio Shore Bird is John's version of the Rat. It's a pretty fuzzy version of a Rat. Certainly does not sound like the Pro Co.

If you ask me a Rat in front of stock JCM 800 or JMP is one of the best rock crunch sounds you can get.
