Yeah....last night we sound checked a minute and a half of a song and stopped, walked off the stage. Lady approached me and asked what was wrong, why did we stop? Haha had to tell her to cool her jets we’ll be back in 15 minutes. She asked where else we play, gave her the rundown. She then asked if we would be interested in playing the Portland Rose Festival event? Hell yeah make it happen! She stuck round the entire night and turned out to be a major player in the Rose Festival and loved the band. Gotta love when a sound check alone snags a good gig. We‘ll see....this was a plugged in acoustic show but full band with a ridiculous female front person, not my normal classic rock gig. This was supposed to be a one off gig band but it blew up into a nearly every weekend thing that’s gaining traction. There a bunch of hot women, PA was a bit squealy at times...No band drama to report, we’re all good friends and in other bands together. Drummer and other guitar player are in the rock band with me, another gig tonight with that outfit that oughta be slamming ????
