I've never seen this before. I guess I'm in the minority that doesn't have tuning issues with my guitars. I stretch the strings out well and my guitars hold tuning well. I would be curious if this does work.

Neat. And I can see where they're coming from as hey, we've all experienced the "plinks" and "planks" of tuning issues with the nut and string angle on Lesters... But for a guitar that's been around for, oh, you know, about 65 years or so, I'm guessing it's not "mandatory"...

Nor would I put one on any of my Lesters.

Not necessary. A little Nut Sauce and a sweet double kink string winding technique and I can't knock my guitars out of tune if I try. Lesters even....

I actually thought about getting one just to see how well it works... worse case i'm sure it will help on my old SG beater.

Just checked, they sell them on amazon now... Definitely will pick one up.

I thought about something like this before to stop the strings from touching/overlapping... but even as particular as I am about such things... it hasn't stopped a lot great tones from being made... so I never thought about it again. Interesting idea though.
