Found these unopened. They were released in 2016 and were limited to 100 sets. They are custom shop Many of which were bought by ESP for Akira’s Killer brand signature guitars. I paid a pretty penny for these. Thinking about putting them in my rising sun chubtone.
Per the articles:
To commemorate the 35th anniversary of LOUDNESS's debut, guitarist Akira Takasaki's signature pickup from Seymour Duncan appeared.
Takasaki has been using Seymour Duncan pickups for more than 20 years. In the latest model, the front is SH-2 JAZZ and the rear is SH-14 Custom5. Meanwhile, the album "THUNDER IN THE EAST", which made its debut in the United States, celebrated its 30th anniversary, and a reissue work was released, and there were many scenes where I once again faced the sound of the time. From such a flow, "Can't you listen to the sound of that album again, and make a pickup that doesn't have the output too large and doesn't crush the nuances of the player?" The story comes up.
Two types of prototypes were produced, one based on the data of the numbered PAF at the time, and the other aimed at sound close to the album. From there, Takasaki put it on his main guitar and used it at recording and live performances. After trial and error, it was finally completed. There are two types of bobbins, black and zebra, and only 100 sets are limited. If you want to get it for sure, please make a reservation as soon as possible!
