seen really beautiful schecter amercian made strat.. and was wondering how is the tone and playability like ?

i bumped into their dream machine 2 which features beautiful wood body of korina or walnut... has anybody tried yet ?

is the tone comparable to andersons ? considering its amercian made i think it should be on par with axes like G and L, andersons , suhr and etc... ?

check this beautiful sea foam green but personally i felt it be better with maple fretboard :)

Well, considering their Korean stuff is really well put together and sounds and plays very nicely (cosmetics aside), I would hope the USA stuff could be pretty stellar.

I played an American made schecter strat and it was great. I think it might have been an sig model, but whatever it was played and sounded great. I was impressed. My friend got it at a low price and the bang for the buck achieved was huge.

Schecter makes excellent guitars, literally only thing that kills me with them is their headstocks. I’m a hockey stick headstock nerd.

Had an American Schecter strat, three Andersons, two Friedmans, a Suhr, and a couple of EBMMs. The Schecter hangs right there with the big dogs... a fact which surprised myself and a few friends a bit. But after all, Tom Anderson himself once worked at Schecter (if memory serves).

He did....I had an 83 Superstrat (not a very common Van Nuys product) that would have had the neck worked by him. Great guitar; a little different than the Charvel profile that I like best but still a great feel to it.
