I regularly frequent TGP (I'll get my coat....) and whilst I know that the majority of people here are bad ass devil eating monkey worshippers with higher than high gain machines (get me breath), we are all guitarists and love and respect all six (7,8) stringed things for what they are...
So....
Are there many here who own or have played GB guitars in either their Baker or B3 design (or indeed Fender or Gibson). . .
I've owned a thru neck strat (B3) for a good few years now and love it. Does all I need it to and it's better than i'll ever be so im happy out with it.

So man up guys, they are awesome guitars and I think anyone here who has/played one knows what im on about. =)

Thanks guys, im off to log into TGP to find out why Im wrong about everything! (only kiddin)

I know the feeling this place can provide at times. :bash: Makes me wonder of this

Gene is a great guy and builds extraordinary sounding and playing guitars.
FTR, I play with high to really high gain amps.

Never played one of his guitars but I've met Gene on a few occasions and he's a funny, seemingly solid dude.

Lol 50mk - was a bit stuck for words. The vernacular deserted me for a moment and i was left with lung farts.
Gene is a gent in all fairness. I got my B3 second hand (used) and emailed Gene and he was straight away back in touch. Dude to the last.
just flipped through the RM post on TGP...
Sorry to say I dont think i've ever heard RM play - gonna rectify that this minute. (One of the beauties of the internet)
But yep, just you and me MK =)
(At least we know how good they are! - Dying to get a Phoenix with tele bridge and mini HB in neck i sunburst!)

I had a B3XS as shown in the vid. Mine was exactly the same. Got it from Cliff at destroyallguitars.
Korina body, neck thru, 6 on a side headstock. It is one I regret selling. The tune was a demo made for some guy at TGP that wanted to hear the different PU settings

I've had a few Infernos through the years- Great guitars.

Stunning looking and great sounding strat there! Sorry to hear you let it go. Bet it played as good as it sounded. Sounded great, tasteful blues rock licks and playing too!! What pups did you have installed in that B3 strat? Cliff is a great guy to deal with. He knows his guitars and has helped many of these fine luthiers break through the ranks, I hear.
I am looking into getting a modern day 335 killer guitar. For me, it is down to one of Gene's Wood guitars that Cliff personally owns and another fine luthier in my area. Tough decisions.

Only the "Baker" name and some Baker models previously made if I am not mistaken.

Only the name far as I know, yea.
The new ones are Built By Baker = B3 =)
I really want to get another Baker (either B3 or Baker) next. Love the Phoenix (Telebird) or whatever you wann a call it . . . Fantastic look...

I'd love to see a relic'd metal XS with Hss, RW neck and a floyd in distressed sunburst (Some day maybe - not sure which side of the fence Gene is on re Relics!)
