I have a DC-5 . I don't really use it much because the low end is kind of loose and saggy. With some love , it could be modded but Boogie makes these things with too much plumbing.
One cool mod is to cut the resistor that is in line with teh master volume pot.Info on how to do it and identify the proper resistor is on the Boogie Board forum. All the resistor does is ruin the taper of the volume pot.Once you cut it out, the pot works like it is supposed to.
Voodoo amps is probably one of the few shops that works with Boogies .

That resistor is 100K, it forms low pass filter of 72Hz(perfect for guitar) with 22nF input PI cap, so the master volume doesn't form LP filter anymore, and the sound is the same at any given volume.Paul Secondino":g6ji5g7y said:

I'm sure Boogie thought it was important to do that with the amp but tonally, to me , it actually sounds bigger and more open without the resistor .I didn't find the bass response to be tighter or looser. I'd recommend removing it even as the taper of the pot is so greatly improved.
