The guy is Kenny Kanowski. He was once in Steel Heart and wrote We Die Young from the Rock Star movie. He is at great player and singer.

That's why I only plugged into an SLO in the Guitar Center room and played Iron Maiden riffs.

That's why I went with Maiden. Nobody had a clue what I was playing so I got all kinds of compliments for playing "originals." Yeah...

Metro was across the hall...the modded Marshall thing he had going was cool.

Surreal was up on the 3rd floor, and Jerry's Colt .45 (I think) sounded cool, too.

See, the thing is, when you've been going to these for a while, you learn where the beer (and Tequila) is....Dave's room is always a sure bet, and always my first stop.
