please hurry, my back is hurting due to extreme heavy power amp

Though you can send me a rebel in the meatime to help me cope

LOL I redid the man cave and lifted my anvil 4 space with 2 RT2/50's in it...HOLY CRAP I am glad I dont play out and have to move that.

Hope this isn't a stupid question, but is the new one-spacer going to be optimally "matched" for the Egnater Modular stuff?

The thing is, it is probably a safe bet this power amp is going to sound killer; most things you guys put out do. I also think
you guys are going to have a good seller on your hands when this unit comes to fruition.

Do you think about those things and weigh it all out (sounding good with Egnater stuff vs. sounding good with everything else) or
do you just wing it until you're happy with it?

Just genuinely curious about how the R&D works with something new like this.

Thanks

First and foremost it must sound good with all our modules. Not just a few. As for sounding good with a solid state pre amp or another manufacturers pre amp we really don't do that. Just ours.

Not that it will sound bad with other pre amps. God I would never be that stupid to say it would

Well, logically, since the Egnater modular line has the most diverse and dynamic range of amp tones available in a rack or head format, it HAS to sound great with most other brands just by default, right?

What's the projected output wattage of the 1U power amp, is it stereo, and will it have tube mixer on it?

A good power amp is just that, a good power amp. I'd think it should work with most other quality preamps unless it is purposely colored for specific preamps, since it is presumably for the M4 and modules, it should be great with most all preamps except those that expect a matching tone colored power amp.

My $0.02 worth.

I may eventually grab one of these. It would be perfect for a "simple" 5 space rack setup or in my case upgrading to W/D/W. Hell I can get it down to a 4 space setup with an E2.

Rumors were 30w stereo/60w mono if memory serves.

Can you put different tubes in each channel? I love that feature on my RT2 and it would be awesome to have that in a single space power amp.
