Any videos of Tom Morello or Vernon Reid being awesome at the Ozzy concert?

And those two are actually friends. I don’t think morello would be coming to my 4th of July party or anything, but the dude is an icon either way
Hold up…. Maybe I misunderstand….

Are you saying Tom Morello and Ted Nugent are friends?

Stumbled upon this gem for everyone’s viewing pleasure. (Start at 2:38.)

I’m not a fan of his commie love agenda but I think he’s a talented dude… I love a lot of rage against the machine songs and he definitely can write some killer stuff. He just takes himself a little too seriously at times I think. 🤔 I can separate the music from the other stuff…

I like Tom's guitar playing. Dude came up with his own spin and it works.

He was doing one of his techniques from the RATM days, but it's almost impossible to hear. The sound crew did a piss poor job on that show. Inexcusable.
Dunno man... In the fan videos I can't hear Vernon, can't hear Tom, I'd say the sound team is 2-1. The strike is for not muting Axl too.

All the videos I saved on YouTube yesterday were down but found some good ones on Daily Motion.

Watching the Sabbath full set at the moment, all my respect to Tony, Bill and Geezer. If ever I reached their age, I want to be able to rock like them.

That's awesome and it needs to happen more often. I'm a Democrat, and couple of the resident geniuses here told me I don't have any friends who are Trump supporters, even though said geniuses don't know me. LOL

I'm in my mid 60's and I grew up on Uncle Ted's music. Steve Morse is right when he said that Ted was shredding before shredding was a thing. The Double Live Gonzo and Intensities in Ten Cities live albums should be required listening for aspiring rock guitar players.

Tom' is awesome. He started out a metalhead. He and Adam Jones are High School buddies from the Chicago area. Tom came up with his own thing and I fuckin' love what he does on the guitar.

Long winded post, I know. Ask me the time and I'll build you a clock. Also, I'm stoned off my ass right now. LOL

I would say it looks like it was the Nuno show. Thank god for that guy. Zakk just looks so ridiculous.. would it kill that guy to square off that beard, keep long hair and just wear jeans? I thought Ozzy looked pretty bad and sang badly from what I saw. Great career, it's time now. This show should be his goodbye but we all know he will get excited about it and think he can tour sitting in a chair and sounding like shit while Zakk tunes down to D...flat.

I'm surprised Tom Morello was even there. I don't think he can even play any Ozzy or Sabbath tunes. He just kind of stood there strumming most of the time.

I will say this though. Morello is at least a big fan and he was rocking a RR shirt so he knows when respect is due. Also, on his own merit, that guy was an innovator. He grooves hard in Rage and I respect the hell out of him. That band is a force and made for live shows. He gets a pass. Reid just sucks.. surprised his spaghetti pedal board didn't bring down the PA system with a short.

now this thread sent me on a RATM kick. i remember watching the premier of this live on MTV with Rikki Lake introducing it. i remember thinking shit, this song might be pretty big :ROFLMAO:

this is one of my favorite songs ever

I’m a sales guy in Boston, if I couldn’t get along with democrats I wouldn’t eat.

Anyone who can’t or refuses to separate politics from real life needs help IMO
