Anybody doing the "detuned" cab thing?

I guess lots of people will take a 4x12, and just put a pair of EVM12L's or something in the top slots and leave the other slots open.

Apprently, it fuckin' rules.

I kinda want to try. IMMEDIATELY! :rock:
 
I think, I want to try it with one speaker in a 2x12 also. :yes:
 
i almost bought a marshall on ebay a few months back, i think a 1961?? it was a 4x12 cab but with 2 of the holes blocked off so it was only a 2x12. i have a randall 2x12 that is my favorite cab that is about 3/4 the size of a 4x12 so i figured that marshall would have been cool to try, but i didnt get it
