Anybody familiar with marshalls modded by Wilder?

Was that on Reverb? Saw it yesterday...pretty good price, lots of features. I heard good things about his mods, but he crashed and burned unfortunately...

Yeah...what little I could find about his mods was all positive so I figured WTH?? It's called a "Dual classic" mod with 2 channels clean and dirt with shared EQ ..Solo boost and a loop

I had one and it was awesome.

it was cool, it had a lot of great marshall tones in it. I could dial in all the cool 80s stuff, plus heavier stuff as well, drop d, yet it stayed tight and articulate, didn't mush out ever. He used to live kind of near me, and I gave him a 2 channel jcm800 and I got back a fire breathing monster. I have seen over the past few years that guys have had trouble with him. That's a bummer. His mods sounded killer in the Marshall I had.

A 1980 Marshall JMP 2203..Completely gutted and point to point now..

if it is anything like the one I had you will be stoked. I know he had curt mitchells marshall for a while and one other modded marshall, and it is a combination of the both of those. mine was great. wish I still had it.

Curt's was Langner modded, correct?
