Anybody got a Metropoulos 10,000 or 12,000 series Replica?

Leaning towards a 12,000 w/ the lar/mar MV on the back. YJM head is gone. Was nice but I would have preferred a MV on it to the Power Reduction. Plus it was '72, too bright, IMO

Nice! I've seen this vid while searching Metro on YouTube.

I have a 12k too, it's not for the faint of heart. :)

I got ya. I've owned many 100 watt Marshalls or clones thru the years. At this point in time, the only way they work for me is with a Master Volume. I prefer a MV to an attenuator as well. Looking at Metro or the much less $$$ Rockitt Retro

Get one and sell it to me when you're done with it

12,000 here as well
George build.
Killer tones
Backing off guitars volume/pick attack gives stellar cleans.

Keep my volumes at 2ish,hit it with a Bogner Red pedal.....WHEUUUU

You get the MV? Loop? Is a loop even necessary?

I have a 12000.I put all mustard caps in and old glass and this thing is unreal! Stupid amount of gain for a stock plexi.I did use the low voltage tap on the transformer so I'm getting a quasi-variac effect

I had a 12,000 a few years back (standard one with sozo caps and no extra features) and have played a 10,000 series a few times. I found the 12 a bit more versatile (could get a bit more aggressive and had more gain available).

I'm not a massive fan of the PPIMV in these kinds of amps (much prefer a good attenuator) but they both have good and bad things about them I suppose.
