I was wanting to modify it so the IN/OUT on the loops don't have to be patched together. Kind of silly having to use all the patch cables. Should be an easy fix with a soldering iron. Anybody else done it or run into issues?

I thought about it but I do not always use it that way.

I un-modded mine from being that way, since I got it used, and needed the in/out capability. The guy that modded it just used a long piece of thick un-insulated wire on both the signal and ground points. I've got some pictures of the mod before I took them out, on my computer at work. If I remember, I'll post em up so you can see what was done.

RJM RG 16  Thats how I mod'd mine or RJM effect gizmo

+1 I like the 4 wired in series and 4 wired independently.

I use the Bradshaw stuff in my main rack. Was going to put together a small rack for noodling around. RJM is good stuff. Bradshaw's is the best, if you can find it.

Here's the picture of the GCX circuit board (1 channel) where you need to solder a jumper between the channels. A piece of thin guitar cable should work for jumping channels 4 and 5, as there are 2 PC boards inside. You'll see when you open it up. It's am easy mod.

Thanks bro. That's what I was wanting to see!
