I am loving what I am hearing, especiallly from the Reeves Super 78. It sounds so good, it was one of the best clips from Lugo's shootout as well...

I am actually inclining for classic rock tones right now, and was contemplating the Reeves and also the Dirty Shirley from Dave Friedman. Don't want to make a decision until the new PT-100 comes out, it could have those classic tones in it plus the higher gain side too...

So how do these amps sound live, do they need to be turned really high to get the goods? I don't want a bedroom amp at all, but I don't want it to be like a non master volume Marshall either

My friend had one, i thought it was pretty cool. But i wasn't soo blown away that i was looking to get one. He sold that to get a Cornford Hellcat and i liked that better, a little more my style.

i think that u can order them with power scaling for low volume use.

In the room at the shootout, the Reeves 78 was one of the best amps of the day. I think James mentions this as well in his observations about it too. it just sounded, huge and articulate. Really sweet tone. I remember he played the first few chords and we we all went Ahhh! Usually a good sign! haha!It had a great full frequency thing going on, without sounding high fi, or sterile. Stadium tone for sure.
I'd send one over to you with my cousin, but he already bought too much shit to take back!
