Anybody using the Rivera Rockcrusher?

Thinking of checking one out primarily for the Marshall YJM. The Power Reduction works well but I believe an attenuator will see the actual power from the amp and sound better.

I use a Rock Crusher and it is great. Really great and does the job even down to bedroom levels.

That said, I have a Torpedo Live now, and hardly use the Rivera anymore.

+1

Most people are going to the Torpedo Live.

I use the Rockcrusher with an insanely loud Cameron modded Marshall. It's the only attenuator that I've found that can lower the volume to bedroom levels for this amp. I don't seem to lose any "power" from the amp with this. It still sounds angry. Love mine!

Yup, love it. Although I want to get the new rockcrusher recording that has the speaker emulator built in.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll probably pick one up, and yes the recording version looks cool. That may be the one

Love mine as well. Great unit. I also will be upgrading to the Recording version in the next few months.

Does anybody find the attenuation steps to be too great on the rockcrusher? That is the one complaint I have seen on them.

I went with an Alex Attenuator, since I found it used before I found a rockcrusher used. I was 50/50 between the 2 units.
