I currently have a Walther PDP Compact but looking for something a little smaller for AIWB. Was considering the Sig Macro (non comped version) but dig the idea of DA/SA for carry. I really like the feel of the SK in the hand because it doesn’t feel squirly like some smaller guns can feel, but does the bulk make it an, almost ran vs. the Sig or something like a Shield Plus (curious about the newer Shield comp carry). I shot a Shield plus recently and even though it shot well, the extended mag where it meets the grip had a lot of play that you felt when firing.

I have a P30L which I carry OWB in cooler weather sometimes. I do often CC a VP9SK ( very similar footprint ) and it's pretty comfortable AIWB. I think it might even be a slightly better shooter than my full size VP9s. Mine came with the Holosun SCS. I love that gun.

I also carry a Masada S which is comparable in size to the P365XL. A perfect AIWB gun and a great shooter. The slide is cut for RMR so I have a Holosun 507K direct mounted.

Ain’t gonna lie, now I have a smaller carry option squared away, a nice compact to full size hammer is looking very appealing for the range and home but I think I’ll let the financial dust settle first.

I always liked the SA/DA with a decocker. My Makarovs are the same way.
