Im late to the party, but i just ordered the killer kali and a syn-1, after playing on my buddys uber module. That thing was sick! I odered the kali because i believe it will be as tight as my engl savage. Im going to have to sell so many heads lol.

I have the 20IR and I could easily switch to it completely... I will someday but I don't have to now. I love it though... I have the Uber and it is awesome. I'll be getting more soon.

I haven't completely but I must say its way better than I expected. Its way better IMO than the old Randall modular stuff. Just got a bigger rack. Heading in this direction...the pedals are just sitting there not hooked up. Not quite settled on how I'll finish out.

Just got a syn20IR and its killer, so much better than I expected, I still have a Mark IV and a germino but I could easily just use this, I am kinda hoping they do a 50W or 100W with the IR's and that can have any power tubes you want

Synergy stuff is awesome. I wouldn’t say a Synergy rig is a direct replacement for the heads being modularized though, just because of how much a head’s power section is a part of an amp’s sound.

But if I wanted to design a single ultimate rig that could do anything and everything, I’d build a Synergy rig.

I'm putting together a similar rig right now with a GCX. Mind sharing a little insight into the signal chain?

I definitely sold off some great heads- not all of them- and have synergy as my go to home studio rig.
Too much stuff to bring out of the house though, I love my Kemper for that. I know some people do the opposite with synergy as their live rig.
I have (2) syn2s wired into a Fortin 50w Cali, I can attest the KK module does have many tones that are there in the head, great stuff!

Wow! Pretty wild how much better these are to the old randall ones. I had the rm100, and a few modded modules back in the day. They werent even close to the uber and kk preamps now. The uber module def has more useable gain and tighter than my old uber head.

I love the Synergy stuff. It is one of my rigs I play with. I have 8 high gain modules, the Syn-2, and I run it through a 200w KT88 Poweramp.

Overall, I find it to be tighter and clearer than the amps they are based on.
Where did you find a kt88 poweramp? I dont think ive even seen one. Thats sick!

Are they really that much better than the Randall ones? Lynch Box was my first half stack. Has some nostalgia for me.

One way I can see they are not better is the aesthetic design. Why all so bland and boring looking. Would have been cool to see some better face plates.

Man I really want to try it out. One day I’ll take a road-trip to @sandman and try out some tasty tones and crawfish etouffee…yeah I spelled it wrong lol… I’m hillbilly not French….

There's a killer KT88 poweramp in the classifieds fs now. The Seymour Duncan KTG 2100 is a sterling beast of an amp. The selling is as well.

Anyone have the iicp module? How are they liking it? Does it compare to a real iic+?

Considerably better. I used MTS stuff for years and was impressed by the improvement.
