Ive heard these things are cool but have never seen one. Anybody have any experiance with them?

I just got a AL-3100 (the black one in my sig pic). Friggin' awesome. Been playing for 23 years and have owned all kinds of gear and this Agile has seriously impressed me. Perfect set-up right out of the box, flawless finish, plays like a dream, Grover tuners, graphite nut. Great fretwork, no deadspots at all. Holds up easily with my other much more expensive guitars.

On this model the electronics were already upgraded and the stock pick-ups (Alnico V's) were surprisingly good. I ended up replacing the pups, but had considered leaving the stocks in. Not the greatest, but heads and shoulders above your typical stock pups.

And Rondomusic.com has great customer service and super fast delivery.

Great value. Definitely more Agile's in my future.

id love to have an agile pro 727 7 string guitar. the build quality and sound you can get at that price is crazy good.

definately a fan :)

I have a PS-900 (PRS copy) that was also setup perfect out of the box. I replaced the pickups with gibsons (490R/500T) and its great guitar for the money. The finish on it feels kinda plastic, like most cheap korean guitars, but it plays great.

There is one main guitar factory in Korea. They build epiphones as well as a few other name brands there.

Agile guitars are the leftover parts from the other manufacturers runs so essentially these are exactly the same as many name brands.

I just bought a custom Agile Septor 727 from Keith Merrow but I'm out of town until Saturday so I haven't gotten to try it yet. On Monday I'll see what all the fuss is about.

definately interested to hear what you have to say later this week - congrats on the guitar!

I have a strat copy and a baritone. I love them both. A lot of people think you have to swap out the electronics, but I tried a set of Texas Specials in the strat and I actually liked the stock pickups a lot better. The baritone has active pickups which I also really like. Both are really fun to play, have decent set-ups and each was under $350 when I bought them. If I had one complaint, I would say the frets seem to be on the small size. It may be personal preference there - as I am used to the jumbo frets on my soloist.

Own an Agile LP myself, and I dig it - it's a solid, "workhorse" guitar. Everything was great out of the box (including the PUPs), with the exception of the frets needing a bit of work - but that's hardly unusual even for guitars two, three times its price.

Nice playing guitar. The pickups are okay, but I'll likely replace them

That ghost is the one Agile I couldn't bond with. I always had trouble keeping it in tune and the neck felt like a baseball bat.

I still have dibs on that bad boy. I've wanted one of those since the day they came out.

You know you want to sell it Zach..

This is actually a slim taper neck, not the baseball bat neck. I too, am not a fan of the baseball bat neck profile

If only we had hypnotize smilie here.

I owned a Les Paul copy when they first came out. It was an OK guitar for the money, but after a while it felt like a cheap toy. I bought it directly from Rondo when they actually had a store front here in NJ. They had 7-8 of them on display and only one was half decent...which was the one that I wound up buying. The others had issues like jagged frets and clearcoat bubbling. I tried a few SX strats and they were total crap.

Been thinking about buying one for doing scales at home and what not, just to try,but i'm affraid
it's going to feel like a toy.Does anybody have they're 7 string? How does it feel? Sound?
And i see they have a custom shop??? WTF?

I hear it's a hit or miss type company, which sucks, but being they make a 7 string King-V -esque guitar I have to buy it. Swap pups and bridge with an OFR7. bangin.
