Anyone else finally delete their PayPal?

I just went on and deleted my bank and card attached, and then cancelled. If you have a pending transaction you cannot cancel account until that clears.

I deleted mine after 23 years. Fuck them.

Well I finally was able to after a few days. Deleted data and closed. They said I had a 'pending transaction" which I did not, so wasn't able to close right away. My last transaction was posted Oct. 9th, no longer pending. But Venmo is owned by Paypal, so I got rid of that shit as well. Will look into Zelle.

BBS/coffeehouse culture in the 90’s was great. You had to have intellect participate. Oddly enough many of those from that culture are woketards now. It’s all fun and games until it’s time to have a family or not, and that is precisely where the rubber meets the road in the culture war.

And a deep dives reveals it didn’t happen overnight.

The Marxist, communist, leftist effluent has been creeping into the education system at many levels for decades.

Decades of denial and apathy about this is finally coming home to roost.

The middle class (economic) and moderate constituents (political) have been gradually diminished. Hence the rise of extremism and populism.

None of these are profound revelations. For those of interest that have kept up and also students of history, all entirely predictable.

Per the old axiom “history doesn’t always exactly repeat, but often rhymes”.

Demagogues and Idealogues are more evil and ubiquitous than ever today.

Egalitarianism, equity, and social justice my ass.

There is absolutely no shortage of useful idiots and willing victims to offer themselves willingly as tools for the cause.

I just deleted my account. This was a bridge too far. The world survived just fine prior to PP.

I transferred my last PP payment to my bank on October 12 it cleared. That was the last transaction with PP.

It allowed me to remove my bank account but they would not unlink my C/C account from the PP account. I figured they may just be trying to slow the exodus. I cancelled the account anyway and printed all my records showing the account closed in case there are any issues in the future.
