Anyone ever buy an amp new from mi audio before?

What were your experiences? I ordered one and paid a deposit and I’m now over a month past their quoted lead time and they’ve stopped answering my requests for update. Have i lost my almost $1k deposit?

No you didnt lose your money. Youll get your amp.

Mine took 3 months and I was quoted 6 weeks. He is not the best at deadlines but you won't be disappointed with the amp. Very high build quality and pretty insane tones.

Megalith beta v2. I’m just over three months now since i sent him the deposit. Took almost 2 months just to order because every time I’d send him a message it took a couple weeks to get a response. After i ordered the amp he was fairly responsive but then three weeks ago he said it was done and he was just waiting for a foot switch enclosure would be another week to completion but now it’s been three weeks and he hasn’t answered any inquiries since. I want this amp but this is getting a little old at this point... even a hey I’m working on it hold tight would suffice but no communication isn’t a great way to do business... at least from my perspective. Hopefully he comes through. Maybe he’s swamped???

He is a one man operation with a ton of orders and this is his side gig.

He sucks at responding and meeting quoted times but he's a good dude and makes a killer amp.

If you want out Im sure you could find someone to buy out your spot but wait it out, the Beta is pretty gnarly.

Cool man i appreciate the feedback. He seems like a nice fella but not the best with communication. I’ve been wanting one of these for over a year. I’ll do as you suggest and wait it out. I’d much rather have the amp than the money, i was just getting a little impatient i guess.
