This place has a decent selection of guitars, and while the prices aren't bad the shipping is expensive. The have a Reverb shop too with excellent feedback. There is one particular Suhr that I'm unable to find elsewhere.

Anyone ever bought anything from these guys? I was wondering about taxes, fees or customs.

Which Suhr is it? I wanted to try one of those legacy models I’ve had a couple Suhr that were serious duds, but also had a couple that were cool.

Doesn’t Suhr take orders?

This is one of those "you'll probably be OK" situations that I personally would avoid. Suhr guitars aren't super rare, one will come up used domestically.

The have a store front also. Suhr has the store listed on their website as a certified dealer.

I was wondering about import fees and taxes -- whether we'd get him with them if importing a USA guitar. Looking through the Reverb feedback and nothing mentions it.

You don't pay customs fees for U.S. made products buying from a non-U.S. located retailer, the Bali guitar shop does because of Indonesian import levies.

I've bought several U.S. made guitars/gear from Japan/Canada shops & not once have I paid a customs fee/import tax. All the invoices only had the cost of the gear & my state's sales tax. Though I'm assuming the shop is being honest about the shipping information as to the country of origin of the gear being shipped.

Good find on the shop. I like their inventory.

I noticed the Indonesian shop prices some of their U.S. PRS Custom 24s, with the same/very similar specs, a few hundred $s less compared to a reputable U.S. based certified dealer.

I know a pretty girl
From kuching she sang
A song of laksa, and nasi
And I see how I Hope
Oh I know and cant wait
Lemak..till she's back

I spoke to them briefly several months back about shipping etc.

I didn't pull the trigger but they were responsive and at least sounded like reasonable human beings.

Now I'm wanting the Suhr HH Silver Nova & a bunch of other guitars in their inventory. LOL
