I'm just wondering if a 2016 101b has any differences in tone from say a 2005 or so ? Have there been any changes to the circuit that has been disclosed by Bogner ? Would you guys say a Marvel mod would still be benefical on a 2016 to get a bit more of a tight and forward sound on the red channel. Also wondering if any improvememnts been made to the loop design to suck less tone?
A friend of mine had a 101B with the Marvel mod , I remember loving the tone on the red channel with it switched to the Cameron setting. I'm not sure what year his amp was built. I just assume its possible over the years the red channel in the newer ones might have been tweaked to sound more the like cameron setting , I could be completley wrong though.
