The closest i got is the MBritt Firebolt profiles for my Kemper. They total about $2.50 if you divide the cost/profile evenly. Price is on par with the level of awesome.

Maybe someone with some time can dig up the last epic thread about Blades amps. The last one 4 to 6 months ago or so just about ruined this forum with plenty of help from Truetone500 !

Billy Blades... Billy Blades... Yes! He is one of the many who were ripped-off by Mark Cameron. I do believe it was that incident that motivated Mr. Blades into building his own amplifiers. I remember that thread, I do indeed! It's the one where Rig Talk's resident Mark Cameron ass-pokers were slandering Blades products. I use the word slander, because no one could produce a single documented case where a Blades product; caught fire, went up in flames, or electrocuted anyone. Man! They don't call this place "Rig Talk - Shit Talk" for nothing.

Billy is a bit arrogant, but his arrogance does not give kids the right to engage in a smear campaign. I mean, what is the matter with you? The level of defamation and vitriol that was exhibited against this guy was enough to make any DC politician blush. Some of the best techs and luthiers I've ever known are/were as arrogant as they come... That's life! Do his claims to build and sound quality hold up to the rhetoric? I'd love to have Billy send me an amp to test and inspect, but I know that will never happen. The clips sound fabulous, but I'd still like to play one for myself. He has the official endorsement of Michael Wagener, so that as they say. seals the deal!

If the clips are accurate, and I have no reason to believe they are not, the Blades Firebolt amplifier might just be the best sounding high-gain Marshall inspired variant ever built. YMMV

The amps are atrocious looking. I can't imagine anyone actually buying one. Plus, isn't he infringing on a bunch of copyrights by using clips of all the artists?

You are correct, Sir on the first point. As far as copyright, I don't know. I hope not because I always play riffs from songs I like when making clips. Of course I am not SELLING anything.

It's weird, he had nice logos, good clean looking faceplates done as well as a pretty ok motion graphic done for his vid intros… and then there's the headshells!

I can't lie, I don't think they sound bad at all. There are some good sounding "studio" recordings for sure. I work too hard for my money so I will stick with guys who actually build well-constructed amps. Hopefully, although there are no fire reports yet, Billy will be practiced enough to make something that actually looks clean inside. Just because it SOUNDS good doesn't meant shoddy workmanship is acceptable.
