Seems to me to be bad mouthing some amp modders and boutique builders including Metro and Friedman in this thread. Also given the fact that I highly doubt Billy's very real reputation for running his mouth about other builders is a made up story from some online cabal out out to get him... there is more than this one example.


Honestly I don't know about how his amps play and sound since I've never played one and clips are useless. But given what I've personally read of his posts and pics of his "work" I'd never give him a dime. I don't care if he made an amp that sounded like tone from on high.

What I want is proof that Blades amplifiers are poorly built, catch fire, and electrocute people..., as key Rig Talk members insist. Yeah, I've seen the "Dirty Steve" prototype pics that the Cameron ass-pokers have been pimping-out on the forums. I've seen amplifiers that look worse, are totally safe, and sound fabulous! I have a few interesting Cameron mod pics, if anyone is interested? Now, if Billy has accused anyone of building an UNSAFE device, I would ask him to prove the accusation. This, I have yet to see.

I don't purchase gear based on what a builders think... That's a philosophical issue. What I want is a quality build, great tone, at an acceptable price. I don't care if Billy jacks-off against images of Shelly Duvall... As long as he builds a great amp (hands washed first), I'm good to go!

Just out of curiosity... if he built an amp that was more towards what you go for tone wise would you put your hard earned money down for one of his amps or would you put your money elsewhere?
