Cab sounds killer with everyone of those heads. I really like the speakers in it and think thats the biggest factor. The only thing I don't really like is that the cab is not basic black....
For space purposes unfortunately the 425 and my Marshall TV cabs need to go down the road. Sticking with more compact 2x12's until space issue is rectified....Both cabs are for sale locally as there is no way I will ship them. Feel free to drive to Portland to pick one or both up There will be others....
Hey Steve,
I just live North of you a bit... first.... is your VM cab a 425B? and if so I have a practically new 2x12 (vintage 30's) that I could work into a deal for your 425... How 'bout it?

It's the slant version. It is all of about 6 weeks old, never been out of the house and I'm the only person who's ever played through it (didn't spend time on a sales floor....) Perfect condition. I actually prefer the slants to the straights as they don't seem so directional.
I'm already covered on the 2x12's. You're more than welcome to check the cab out. I've also got a Marshall TV cab, same deal...
Ive had my fair share of vintage cabs and they are all hit or miss. Im not saying this is the norm but the reason why Most people sell there vintage cabs is because they usually sound like ass and they are using the sale to fund something else. The playing field has been narrowed down now because there are so many quality cabs and speakers out in this day and age. I would bet that the odds are in favor of you getting a better sounding newer cab then a vintage cab.
