Anyone own a Platinum mod JMP1 ?

I'm really tempted by this mod.

I've owned the JMP1 since they 1st came out, on my 3rd one now... they do die eventually.

I'm pretty happy with the tone so I'm curious to know how much better the Plat mod sounds and also is it reliable ??
I'm in the UK, so sending mine off to be modded is a big deal.

It's a shame they couldn't elect a company over here to do the work, it would be so much cheaper for me.

I got the platinum mod on my jmp-1 about a year ago, and I say go for it. it is everything they claim it to be. they replaced the original british powersupply with a mercury tranny so I don't need that huge stepdown transformer hanging off the back of it. it's quieter, and the cleans are more detailed and sparkling. did I mention it's quieter.
