Anyone own the EVENTIDE H9?

Been thinking of getting one of these for delay/reverb as well as de-tune.
Is the H9 very transparent? dont like a pedal that colors the tone of the amp a lot.
and i was considering going used and getting the MAX version?
 
I had one ,unit sounds good but I found there were not a lot of useful patches I lot were spacey ambient sounds which I don't use much of . But no doubt the tones in this box are nice .Fairly easy unit to tweak with an ipad but it is a pricey unit.
 
I looked at one several times, but each leaving with mixed feelings. What I wanted it for was the pitch shifting but the tracking is pretty poor. I couldn't live with it.
 
These are great pedals! I had issues with the Bluetooth connectivity as I had a pair of them on my board. I had to make a couple of edits live once and it was an uber pain due to them not connecting up properly to my iPad. They worked fine through the mini USB connectors at home in the studio.

Either way, they have some great sounds to explore. I ended up returning them due to the issue I had. The H9 control is really easy to use and navigate through.
 
I liked mine but my Source Audio stuff has me well more satisfied at 1/3 of the cost of the H9 Core.
