I have been playing a wet/dry at home because my RAndall Lynchbox serial loops sucks balls. With the G MAjor II I can't get anywhere close to unity gain (sounds great low though) and I'm not using anything but the echoplex sim. I need line level pedals so i got to thinking, my amp is doing all the work, why not get my delay and verb from some cheapo unit like a Zoom G2 lynch pedal or something? Was watching some reviews, seems like it does a pretty decent job. I 'm at the point where I am realizing that I have spent far too much time on gear whoring and analyzing every little bit of my tone. This very simple "all on the floor" rig moving forward will also work with a wet/dry if I use an amp with no effects loop because I'll also have a EHX magnum 44 on my pedal board. So let's hear it, any of you guys doing this? When you jam or when you play gigs, can you honestly tell the difference?? I was going down the road of possibly selling the G Major and picking up a nova delay repeater but it's just more cash for one effect...
