Anyone played the Cornford MK50ii?? Thoughts??

Don't see alot of them come up for sale or a chance to play here in the states..especially Wisc Wondering who's had a chance to play/own one and their opinions?? Great list of Artists that use them(Govan, Howe, Moore, etc) but they're flavored more rock fusion, blues, jazz.. How does this amp(gain) stack up against the SLO's, Friedmans, Camerons, etc??..Clips sound good but they are just that..clips. Let the discussion begin. Cheerz & Thanx

I bought one new a couple years ago and it's the single most dumb-ass gear sale I have made since the shit I "gave away" before I knew about the internet way back when. IMHO the amp really shines for old metal, hard rock with a bb preamp(or something of the like) in front of it..I had el34's in mine and it sounded every bit as good as the '94 SLO stack I had side by side. You combine that with all the features the thing has and it's one hell of an amp...you miss nothing.

Haha, it's all good. I was just looking at one on ebay a guy is selling...it's tempting but really trying to make an effort to just keep what I have and I'm blessed enough there I suppose.

I have one, and it's not going anywhere; definitely one of my all time favorite amps. Very touch sensitive, dynamic amp

I use it for the hard rock 80's tones and it gets there no problem, for shits and giggles I put my 82 tube screamer out front and it was just plain sick. Totally impressed. Just my 2 cents.
