If you have read this in another forum I apologize in advance, but I'm trying to get an idea of what to do as fast as possible.

I'm trying to finish this pedalboard build and thinking, "If I am ever going to want more than 5 presets this is the time to do it."

I'm using 3 pieces of RJM gear (an EG, an RG-16 and an Amp Gizmo) and the Mastermind works flawlessly with all three. Since the RS-T's can send PC messages I'm guessing that it should be just as easy to write and save my presets on the RJM units. I'm not really as worried about having IA for individual pedals as I am having more presets per song.

I'm wondering if the RJM units will see 16 presets per bank though as opposed to just 5? I am thinking of going with the RS-T16.

Do you actually use more than 5 presets per song?

RJM is know for great customer service, if you don't find an answer here you could call him or drop them an email.

I may on a few tunes use more than 6, yes, though that would be rare. More than that is me having to label the Mastermind. I have more than 25 presets over all and sticking 5 little labels per button would be a bit much. I have a shitty memory and I sing on just about every song, so the last thing I need to do is give myself something else to look for. Having 16 presets with two labels per switch seems pretty good to me.

The size of the RS-T16 is also more compact than any of the other midi controllers I have researched so far. I really dig the ease of use with my RJM units thus the reason I haven't sold them all and just contacted Bob Bradshaw already to build me something. Scrolling thru MIDI channels and CC messages is more than I really want to deal with should I switch up my loop presets. That's why the RJM "write" button is perfect for guys like me that don't get to into MIDI programming.

Check out the Liquid foot Plus 12 series, Theyre less expensive and smaller than the Bradshaw. pretty hard to beat IMO...
