Man, I haven't heard a Triaxis since working retail in the late 90's and selling them. Thought they were OK but not incredible. Played one today through a 2:90 and it had so many great tones in it. I was really surprised how much I liked it. Could get very Stonesy and slightly driven Fender to full on tight down picking heaven. Had no recto characteristics which was a good thing. It was older, serial in the mid 2K's. I'm wondering if my style has evolved, changed to where the Triaxis is a good fit now. I've got my Plexi build and have been looking for old school Fender tones and plug and play metal. I think I found it in a rack unit
Is the 2:90 the only choice because of the switching. It's just so damn loud. What lower wattage PA's have some of you guys tried.
