He shows up to a legendary jazz jam, acts obnoxious as hell, doesn't play that well, gets replaced, then pitches a fit when he can't do another song. Looks like this time he threatened to call ICE. And once again, everyone at that jam is too much of a bitch to confront him directly.

That's not the first time he's pulled this stuff. He went viral last winter for pulling the same crap at the same jam. He's made himself unwanted.

Agreed. He admitted being somewhat of a mental case in a previous video but excuses sound the best to the person making them. It seems like there isn't enough collective testosterone at that jam to expel the idiot permanently, which is exactly what should happen. I'd have no problem telling him never to come back in as nice of a way as possible but it's like younger people don't feel shame or embarrassment for acting like dumbasses. A generation raised by screens have no ability to interact normally with others anymore. Zero social skills.
Not all young people, I have lots of young people who work for me that are very cool and with great social skills, the entitled ones don't last long at our place.
I guess I painted with too broad a brush but it does seem to be a characteristic of younger i-phone generations in terms of a greater percentage having little or no social skills. I'd def agree with your post, covid shut-ins didn't help that situation.
I laughed out loud towards the end of his slot - when he was wanting to solo, and an endless succession of illegal immigrants kept walking on to play a few bars. The whole band took a spot, then the immigrants came back again. Brilliant.
