That's a dream piece for me right there. All my cabs are 16 ohms, so I could have them running daisy-chained as 8 ohm loads. 2 warhead stacks,a Cameron stack and a Marshall stack, and pick my favorite 8 heads.

Gonna have to do this....

Looks really cool and it can do a lot for amp and cab switching. I'd love for it to go 1 step farther and have 1 more set of In/Out to be able to add effect pedals that can switch in and out of Amp loops as you switch between amps.

I wonder if this would be safe to have all my amps loaded into the Torpedo Studio. Then have cab presets assigned via midi to each amp for recording...

yeah i've thought about that, should be, because it's just like a cabinet, i was always thinking to get a amp switcher and just have 4 amps switch into the two notes

sweet

Hmmm, I was reading through the Owners Manual and it doesn't do what I want (which I'd expected)... I cannot play two amps to separate two cabs simultaneously in 'stereo'. Also there's no impedance adaptation, meaning the switcher won't adapt when switching between an amp set to one impedance (for ex: 16 ohms) to a cab of a different impedance (for ex: 8 ohms).

I think I'll just stick with the Ampete 444 and 88S / 88S Studio switchers. At least these allow you to play to up to two cabs from one amp, has a separate FX send/return feed per amp, and includes impedance adaptation.

Agreed, the Ampete's control over effects loops and master loop kinda swings me over there.. Its a cool piece though, and T Pierce builds top quality stuff. His mike preamps are supposed to be killer, I think they are a 1073 type circuit
