I dug out the disc I bought in 2009, completely unaware they were still releasing material....there's a 2011 and 2013 releases I don't have.

Into the Labyrinth ... some great traditional heavy metal.

Wow.......one of my favorite bands ever. I'm not much into the later material as it has a much more modern sound. However, I love the old stuff.......simple, catchy riffs played through loud ass Marshalls Seems like they were the opening band of every show I went to in the early 80's.

I actually ordered a UK import 3-disc "Best Of" set a couple days ago. I think it has 54 songs.

My old band used to cover Dallas 1pm and Wheels of Steel.

Yes LOTS of folks still do. Saxon still write excellent stuff. Saw them last year in Vegas and they kicked all kinds of ass.

Actually part of a metal cover band called "Denim And Leather" that does all classic metal. Our set list is definitely "old school" - Accept, Priest, Maiden, Grim Reaper, Savatage, Flotsam, Metal Church, Scorpions and of course, our name sake - Saxon.

We try to do more off the beaten path tracks from the bands as well. Stuff for metal fans. You want to hear "Rock You Like a Hurricane" then we ain't the band for you! LOL!
